After watching a snippet of Sissi in class, I went home to see the rest of the film on YouTube. It is the first of a classic trilogy of romantic films about the iconic Empress Elisabeth of Austria, also known as Sissi.
To my horror, the videos stop at 6/10! Grahhhh…

I had an unforgettable date with my favourite boys in sailor uniforms last night,
who delivered each song with rosy cheeks and unadulterated innocence;
Johann Strauss’ polkas and Emperor Waltz,
Queen’s masterpieces and crowd favourites from ABBA.
One boy could not stop yawning

Have just watched one of the films shown at the Italian Film Festival, Riprendimi (Good Morning Heartache). It was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008. A well thought-out and refreshingly mature plot + Stellar leads = Bravissimo!

Premier tomorrow:
Had watched the movie back in 2002 (Colin Firth!) and it was incredibly funny. Now the play will be showing at the Drama Centre, 25 March – 11 April 2009. I heard it’s gonna be an all-male cast, so expect surprises and get your tickets here already!
