La vie n’est pas en rose

Bleargh. I feel so shitty these days. It’s partially attributable to the flu, partially because life looks kinda messy and I feel the need to do something about it but I have yet to start anything. Never mind if you’re crinkling your forehead by now.

It also sucks that I missed the International Film Festival. There were quite a few movies I’d like to have seen. Recently watched these 3 movies, though.

Such is Spielberg’s brilliance. I love Eric Bana’s intensity in here. And don’t let his Israeli accent deceive you -he’s Australian and his real accent is lovely!

This is the one Marion Cotillard received an Oscar for. Never knew how depressing and tragic Edith Piaf’s life was till I watched this movie. Non, je ne regrette rien…

I didn’t expect this movie to be amazingly good, but it’s surprising how your suspense is sustained almost through the end. Abigail Breslin is definitely meant to do big things.

Next, wanna see these movies!

  • The Other Boleyn Girl (Eric Bana as Henry VIII!)
  • Virgin Territory (heard it sucks but wanna watch it nonetheless ‘cos it’s set in old-time Italy)
  • Made of Honor (to resist Patrick Dempsey would be a sin)
  • Sex & the City: The Movie (ladies, do we need a reason?)
  • The Time Traveler’s Wife (Eric Bana again!)

I need a perk-me-up!
